Victoria Olutayo Odumosu is a seasoned Administrator and Public Servant who rose through the ranks of Officer to Director in the Civil Service Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. She acted as the Executive Secretary of an Agency under the Presidency between 2017-2018 (Border Communities Development Agency) with the mandate of Developing the Infrastructure of the International Border Communities, after the expiration of the tenure of the then Executive Secretary.
From 1991 to 2008, ‘Tayo Odumosu successfully served as the Head of Protocol Department in the Industrial Training Fund, a Grade “A” Parastatal of the Federal Republic of Nigeria charged with the sole responsibility of promoting and encouraging the acquisition of skills in industries and commerce with a view of generating a pool of indigenous trained manpower sufficient to meet the needs of the economy.
In 2003 she was appointed the AGM, Project of 8th All African Games (COJA). She became the Pioneer Head of ITF Corporate Office Abuja in 2004-2008; Coordinating the ITF Inter-Governmental Relations at the seat of power-Abuja. She also headed the External Relations and Exhibitions Department of the ITF between 2008 and 2010.
Born in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. She was educated at the University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University). Studied English Education as First Degree in 1983. She was engaged by the University in 1985, as Part-Time Lecturer at the Department of English Language Faculty of Art, teaching Use of English which is a Fundamental Course generally for ALL InComing Students at that time. In 2001 had her 2nd Degree in Human Resources Management at the Federal University of Technology Akure.
‘Tayo Odumosu has to her credit not less than 20 Scholarly Publications from 1991-2002. She is a member of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) and a FELLOW of the Chartered Institute of Administration (CIA).
